Contribution Limits
Under Texas law, there are no limits on campaign contributions to local candidates. However, all contributions must be from individuals or entities legally permitted to contribute.
Required Disclosures
Texas Election Code requires campaigns to report the name, address, occupation, and employer of contributors who give more than $90 in a reporting period. This information will be included in public campaign finance reports.
Prohibited Contributions
We cannot accept contributions from corporations or labor organizations. Contributions from foreign nationals are also prohibited by federal law.
Tax Information
Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
