Adam Hernandez for Lubbock City Council District 3

Adam Hernandez

For Lubbock City Council District 3

Lubbock deserves leadership that listens, serves, and delivers results.

Born and raised in Lubbock, Adam has spent years fighting for taxpayers, stronger neighborhoods, and better city government.

My Priorities for District 3

District 3 needs practical leadership focused on neighborhood basics, taxpayer fairness, and a record of results people can see.

Improve city services using the taxes you already pay.

Our neighborhoods deserve the best. I will prioritize improving animal control services, addressing illegal dumping, and enforcing codes. The taxes you pay should take care of what matters to families every day.

Make big developers pay their fair share, just like you do.

When developers build new subdivisions, they should pay their share for the roads and infrastructure, not just you. My advocacy for impact fees helped save taxpayers $14 million over four years before the current council repealed them under developer pressure. I will fight to bring them back.

Proven record of results, not just promises.

I have helped save taxpayers tens of millions of dollars through impact fees, policy changes, and advocacy that allows the city to use your tax money more wisely instead of passing higher costs onto you through bond elections. District 3 needs a voice that delivers real change.
